Duchess of Designs-We-Love....Kate cracks the US in style

Well Shopistas, Kate has done it again! Instead of opting for a designer frock with a price tag mirroring the cost of a new car, the world's new fashion queen has opted for a Diane von Furstenberg dress for her second US outing to a private reception at the British Consul-General's house in LA on Friday night. The gorgeous green sheath is another example of Kate's accessible style, and once again proves that you don't need to be a millionaire to dress and look like a true fashion queen.
Like most of Kate's looks of late, her DVF 'Maja' dress has sold out online, but the label synonymous with classic American glamour promises it will be back in-stock soon, so make sure you keep USD $398 of your Shopista Shopping fund aside for that exciting day!
Below are some of Sleuth's favourite looks from the new Royal couple's Canadian & US tour - where Kate the Great is paving her way to becoming the most watched Fashionista in the world...

Happy Shopping! x

Some of Sleuth's much-loved
looks by Kate...

All hail fashion's new Queen! While worn back in the UK, Sleuth couldn't help slipping this blush pink Jenny Packham dress in, as it still stands as Sleuth's favourite Kate look to date, and helped cement her as a true fashion force on the world stage, stepping out soon after 'that wedding' in this divine creation. So it had already been seen on Leighton Meester in Gossip Girl? Makes us love Kate even more for not being a precious fashionista!

Royal perfection. Sigh! Kate shows her fashion fans how it's done in this navy Erdem dress - ticking all boxes in the style stakes! Click HERE to shop Erdem's divine collection.

Kate shares some fashion secrets with her fans...

For her last day in Canada, the Duchess chose a Catherine Walker & Co coat dress and accessorised with a gorgeous diamond maple leaf - she knows how to win a crowd!

Looking a little 'cinched' around the waist, Kate was still well heeled in LK Bennett 'Silver' sandals and glowed in another Jenny Packham dress, this time the 'De Gournay' (silver and marble grey hand-painted chinoiserie silk). Click HERE to view more of LK Bennett shoes.

One of Kate's favourite labels, Issa, was the order of the hour in Canada, where she paired this gorgeous purple 'twist' number back with her maple leaf brooch. This isn't the first time Kate has chosen Issa for a momentous moment, with the label being Kate's choice designer to wear for the announcement of their engagement (below). Kate kicks off the US leg of their tour by showing exactly that in this understated dress by Roksanda Ilincic. Click HERE for more Roksanda designs.

Sleuth loves a girl who isn't afraid to wear something twice and give it a new twist. Kate helps celebrate Canada Day in the same Reiss dress worn for her engagement portrait (below) - no surprises it was an instant sell-out! View other Reiss dresses HERE
To commemorate their engagement, Kate opted for a cream Reiss dress

Sleek sophistication, this tall glass of water knows how to work linen in this By Malene Birger dress. The Canadians thought so too, and had her ready to puck up instead of frock up! For more Malene Birger designs CLICK here.
