She Who Loves Shopping: The weekend away....and what to wear

The excitement of receiving an invitation away for a weekend of fun is unique, in that the excitement can easily be ebbed away and replaced by the panic of what will a Shopista wear on said weekend?
For those of us who like to dress appropriately for all occasions, a 'weekend away' often translates into 'needing 7 new outfits' for a two day affair. Panic not, as Sleuth covers off three major weekends away - the country, beach and snow weekend.
Always remember that the point of a weekend escape is to do exactly that, escape your normal life, pack up some fab looks in a bag and enjoy a few days off from the daily grind of 9 to 5. So don't let the fear of not looking up to fashion-par ruin your trip... step back, relax, assess your wardrobe and pick out pieces that are a) going to pack well into an overnighter and b) make you feel at home in your home away from home.
