With the release of Miu Miu AW11 collection featuring new teen queen Hailee Steinfeld, the label takes a distinctly young turn from past celeb models who have helped mould the label into a Hollywood wardrobe must-have.
Hailee will join the likes of Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst and model Vanessa Paradis (aka Mrs Johnny Depp), all who's previous block-coloured-geometric looking campaigns have helped build Miu Miu into a powerful fashion entity, and allowed it to differentiate from big-sister label, Prada.

Hailee's appointment fits in rather nicely, as Miu Miu's collections have always had a playful exuberance to them...you can just imagine the ever-colourful Miuccia Prada sitting in her design studio, having fun with her 'young and fun' designs and infusing Miu Miu with an injection of classy cheekiness that results in Miu Miu not being so much a diffusion line, but having become its own fashion powerhouse - synonymous with a daring escapism from the 'norm' of what younger fashion has become (who says the young can't dress for fun while still looking a million bucks? Unfortunately though with some of Miu Miu's price tags, you might need a million bucks!)
